A PROFUSELY ILLUSTRATED COPY OF THE RAMAYANA OF TULSI DAS MADE FOR THE MAHARAJA OF JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN, CIRCA 1860 Devanagari manuscript on paper, 400ff. plus four fly-leaves, each folio with 23ll. of black devanagari script, some words picked out in red, text within red, black and yellow rules, with 134 original illustrations, including 35 full page, colophon dated, in later red marbled paper covered binding, in good condition Text panel 9 1/8 x 7¼in. (23 x 18.4cm.); folio 11½ x 9in. (29 x 22.5cm.)
